Dark Crystal Table Top RPG Announced

The Dark Crystal franchise is getting it’s own tabletop RPG game in 2021. This game is set to take place in the same world as the Dark Crystal and the Dark Crystal Age or Resistance series from Netflix.
The game is stated to be a easy to play RPG. The game will come out with a 100-scene and 200 page adventure from Janet Forbes and Jack Ceasar. The game will also come with a Game master toolkit to help run it.
Based On Dark Crystal Movie and Netflix Series
For those not aware of the Dark Crystal or the Dark Crystal Age of Resistance, we highly recommend that you check out the series on Netflix or get an idea of it by checking out our review on the recent series here.
With the Netflix series that was released, the entire universe the series is based of opened up with many possibilities from weapons, races and even machinery.
Unfortunately, the show was then cancelled and will not be as of the time of writing this article, getting a second season. Hopefully with a success of this game once it’s released, we will be treated with a second season to the fantastic Age of Resistance that Netflix released so far.
Dark Crystal Board Game

As personal fans to the show here. I am really excited to hear more and find out what this new TTRPG game with have to offer in the world of the Dark Crystal.
One thing that we will get with this game however is the release of some really cool art of the world of Thra, where the entire Dark Crystal series is based out of.
Races for Dark Crystal Table Top RPG
We can hope for some playable races such as the Skeksis, Gelfing and Podlings. Only time will tell what this will have to fully offer as we get closer to the release of the series.
