Another month another list of Games that you should Know About on Kickstarter August 2020. This month we have the return of the studio that brought you endangered orphans, New Dwarven Forge terrain, and much more. Let’s dive right in.
Wildlands by Dwarven Forge: Handcrafted Modular Game Terrain
One of the most well known and high quality miniature terrain creators out there is releasing new biomes of fantasy terrain.
The Kickstarter will cover 3 biomes such as swampland, Mountains and forests. The miniatures are magnetic and some contain LED’s like other pieces of their terrain in the past.
These come painted or unpainted. Their terrain is also very durable so they can be used for years to come.
The terrain pieces and boards are scaled to be used on 1x1 grids.
Another cool thing that is being introduced is the floor fogger that is a mini fog machine that goes under tiles to great a really neat effect.
If you're looking for the terrain that is second to none, back Dwarven Forge and get some really cool terrain for yourself.
Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape
Fans of Massive Darkness will be getting a standalone sequel with Massive Darkness 2 Hellscape. This game comes with fantastic miniatures with the gameplay everyone loves improved. As well as an overarching campaign.
Players will take on the role of lightbringers who fight the forces of darkness. This game is designed for 1-6 players. Check out the full kickstarter page to find out more.

Northgard: Uncharted Lands 🛡️
Northgard is a game where players grow their viking villages. This game takes a new look at the building tower defence games or games such as dominion. Players will control their own faction working to grow their influence and territory in the game.
The game is designed for 2-5 players and takes from 45-90 minutes to play.

Wanderhome
Wanderhome is a dice free tabletop RPG that follows animals-folk’s adventures in the world of Wanderhome. With art intended to be used by many artists, this Kickstarter plans to get you the rulebook and scenarios to this game in a nice package.

Lizard Wizard
This game takes place in the world of Astoria and is in a world of magic. The game is all about casting spells, summoning familiars and entering the dungeons. Scores are totaled from the amount of spells and towers constructed at the end of the game.

ENDANGERED ORPHANS: HOUSE OF RATH
A cooky game where a group of orphans must keep away from the count rath that moves throughout the board based on where he senses the most orphans. The rolling of the dice effects the mansion of count Rath himself.
The goal of the game is to keep as many of your orphans to make it to the end of the night as possible.
This game is for 2-6 players and lasts 30-50 minutes. It’s a perfect lengthened game for setting something up that doesn’t take all night and is a really great smaller get together game.
This game is expected to be delivered in June 2021.
If this game is anywhere near as fun as Endangered Orphans of Condyle Cove, we are all in for a treat.
