Kickstarter Board Games You Should Know About In June 2020

We are trying something new this month with our Kickstarter coverage. In the past we had released articles bringing up some of our most favorite Kickstarter board game campaigns. But this was not really helpful to you the reader when looking for the next big things on Kickstarter. This is all the Kickstarter board games you should know about in June 2020.
The Age of Atlantis
This civilization building game is all about the quickly expanding technology of Atlantis. The game is designed for 1-4 players and lasts about 35 minutes per player making a 4 player game around 2 and a half hours long.
This game gives me a civilization vibe to it where players can work together to build up the city and earn favor with the gods.
The theme is well pinned down with this game as well all the pieces, boards and cards look to really blend well for a really cool strategy game.

Nemesis Lockdown
This is a standalone expansion to the popular game Nemesis that doesn’t require the base game in order to play. The game is compatible with some of the characters from the previous base game.
If you are a fan of Scifi horror, this game is thick with theme, the base game was able to capture this feel really well. The base that is being explored in this set is locked down and the players must survive.
The expansion has by far surpassed the funding goal. The game pieces look high quality and there are a lot of pieces to this game. Many of the stretch goals have been reached as well that come with even more awesome game pieces and content.

Fire Tower: Rising Flames Expansion + Reprint
Firetower was released back in 2018, now the game is receiving a reprint as well as coming out with a brand new expansion called Fire Tower: the Rising Flames.
The expansion comes with fire hawks that pick up fire tokens and carry them towards the opponent. There are also many new cards and abilities that come with this new expansion.
The game was fully funded early on in it’s Kickstarter journey and looks to be a continuation of the surprising fun that the original game created.
Also, who can resist how awesome the idea of hawks carrying fire over to your opponents.

Merchants of the Dark Road
Another big strategy game, this game boasts the ability to handle 1-4 players! Merchants of the Dark Road is a game all about preparing caravans to travel from one city to the next by loading up each cart with goods and characters that can help defend the cart along the journey.
Once the players have prepared their caravan they must brave the dark roads to the next city.
Success leads to fame and fortune!
The box comes with a lot of pieces and for people that like lots of theme to their games, this game is full of it. The pieces at higher pledge levels look absolutely fantastic.

Terraforming Mars Big Box + 3D Tiles!
One of the more exciting games that has released in recent years has a Kickstarter to give Terraforming Mars fans a little extra to add to their game. This big box comes with 3D printed materials for the game all in a very nice storage system.
Any big fan of the Terraforming Mars game may want to look into backing this project that at the time of writing this article has raised nearly $1 million dollars.

Bristol 1350: A Medieval Game of Racing, Plague & Deceit
This game seemed odd to me at first, but the more I watched the video the more the mechanics and concept to this new board game became interesting and exciting!
Escape the town with your companions but be aware that they may be lying to you and potentially getting you sick with the plague!
This game boasts a shorter playing time with a easy learning curve of only a few minutes making this a good game to pull out at parties. This game can be played with 1 to 9 players!

The Little Death - The Game
The Little Death is a cute board game where players play as a reaper character that is working to help characters in the game pass on to the next life. They need to successfully do this in order to receive their reaper diplomas.
This game seems to be like a lot of fun and has sold really well in France all ready, now it’s getting ready to reach the world market with this Kickstarter campaign.
The project today is already fully funded and is currently working on some stretch goals including extra cards.
The mad pledge will come with the expansion called the Bad Guys expansion.
