Ghostbusters Afterlife Trailer Released
/The Ghostbusters Afterlife trailer dropped on December 9th 2019. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the new story that will be told for the Ghostbusters series. It is stickly with nostalgia and oozing with a Stranger Things vibe. That’s not just because Finn Wolfhard is in the trailer who plays Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things. The graphics of the proton lasers and the sound hark back to the original two movies in the series.
Also notably attached to the new movie is Paul Rudd how appears to be playing a school teacher named Mr. Gooberson.
We also get Mckenna Grace who may recognize her from shows like Fuller House or Young Sheldon, she will be playing a character named Phoebe who appears to be related to one of the original ghostbusters.
Not seen in the trailer but on the cast on IMDB are Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson Sigourney Weaver and even Annie Potts who plays Janine Melnitz.
The story appears that ghosts have not been seen for over 30 years. A mystery starts to arise one Summer in the small town of Summerville. That means the plot will probably take place in the Summer. The kids stumble upon some old tools and must use these tools to solve the mystery to why every day the town has earthquakes even though it’s nowhere near fault lines in the crust.
The movie is expected to drop in the Summer of 2020.
