Baldur's Gate 3 Teaser Released
/Baldur’s Gate is getting a third installment. It appears that the Dungeons & Dragons world is really moving towards the next big city this year on the Sword Coast with Baldur’s Gate. Not only is this game on it’s way but we are getting a new campaign set in the Baldur’s gate are of the Sword Coast in the last quarter of this year.
The Trailer was dropped during a Google Stacia presentation. What we know so far is that this game will take place after the new campaign book that will be released in September. There will be nods to events that happened in the past on this game. The game play style will reflect the 5th Edition to the best of it’s ability.
This trailer was starts off with a soldier limping through a war torn city street that we can assume is Baldur’s Gate. All of the sudden he begins morphing an some disturbing imagery into one of the most iconic Dungeons & Dragons villains, the Mind Flayer. I think that this will mean that we could see much more Underdark characters in this game in the future. I know I will be picking up my copy when this is released.
