New Pathfinder Ruins of Lastwall Miniatures
/New Pathfinder miniatures announced today and I have to say that I am pretty happy with the scope of the release. If you are one of those players that mixes their game miniatures like I think all should. The edition of some of these figures will make for great additions as well as theme setting terrain miniatures.
One of my favorite pieces from this set is that golden dragon seen in the image here. But there is much more too this set and I find the theme will work very well for campaigns that are more gothic horror esc. That is not to say there is not a variety of different miniatures in this set that don’t quite fit that theme.
Another addition here that is separate from the booster boosters is the Pathfinder Battles: Ruins of Lastwall - Cemetery of the Fallen Premium set. If you are willing to give some up some money for this set you will receive a mausoleum, gravestones, stone coffins and fence lines that can really add another element to the battles. I would have found this set very useful in my Dungeons and Dragons Curse of Strahd campaign. This set has been listed to be sold for $49.99, a bit on the pricey side but the quality of Wiz Kids is relatively good and if it’s worth it you or your campaign pick it up.
The prices listed by Wizkids as of the day this article is posting is as follows:
MSRP for a Brick: $127.92 (8 boosters or 32 figures)
MSRP for for an individual booster: $15:99 ( 1 Large figure and 3 medium or small figures)
These sets are set to release in May of 2019 and will contain 44 unique figures in this specific set release. The prices are pretty good, it doesn’t seem like there is much of an advantage of getting a brick at this time though with the price coming out at the exact same price. The only benefit being there could be a chance for less duplicates when opening miniatures by the brick.
I want to end this article by asking what is your Favorited miniature from this set that you are hoping to pull? Leave a comment below. Also if you like this article consider following us on twitter @dickwizardry or liking our facebook page.
